Q: What are your dates of operation

B. Our office is open during the off season Monday – Thursday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and Friday 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm to take reservations and respond to inquires, with the exception of Holidays. We can be reached at (207) 934-2533.
Q: Can we bring two vehicles?
A: We have space for one vehicle per room. We have very limited parking for oversized vehicles. You will find you have more parking options if you arrive in a smaller vehicle. Trucks and oversized vehicles have very limited parking options. Please call for parking information when renting Family Suites.
Q: What is the deposit I must pay?
A: All reservations require a 50% deposit, of the trip total, paid at the time of booking. For One Night Stays A 100% Deposit is required at the time of booking all room types.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
All cancellations require a 7-day notice.
There are no cancellation fees or refunds.
We will issue you a gift certificate of your deposit for a future stay, providing you cancel 7-days prior to your scheduled arrival.
Less than a 7-day notice, there will be a loss of full deposit.
Q: Do you have any minimum night requirements?

Our Inn & Suites
Q: What are the check-in and check-out times?
A: During the In-Season, check-in is between 3pm and 9pm with check-out by 10am. During the Off-Season, check-in is between 3pm and 7pm with check-out by 10am.
Q: What is included in your base rate?
A: Room rates are based on two adults and two children (under 12). Any additional guest is $20 per night plus tax.
Q: Do you have any additional fees?
A: Maine State Lodging tax is 9% and we have a Guest Service Fee of $10.00 per room night.
Q: Do you allow pets?
A: We love pets but we are sorry, we cannot accommodate them.
Q: Do you allow smoking?
A: To ensure the comfort of our guests and comply with Maine State Law smoking is prohibited at Abellona Inn & Suites. There is no smoking in guest rooms, common areas (inside or out), patios or balconies. We have a designated smoking post just off our property for smokers to enjoy. We ask that you be respectful of our neighbors. We charge a cleaning fee of $250 if there is smoking in the rooms.
Q: Do you allow bubbles in the jacuzzis?
A: Bubbles are not permitted as they can damage the jacuzzi jets! There will be a cleaning fee of $250.
Q: Do you have an elevator?
A: We are sorry, we do not have an elevator. Many of our rooms are on the second floor. Please call our front desk at (207) 934-2533 to request a room on the ground floor if you have trouble with stairs.
Q: Do you have a pool?
A: Yes, we have an indoor heated salt water pool in the same building as the office. Open Memorial Weekend until our date of closing for the season.
Q: Is wi-fi available?
A: We have complimentary wi-fi throughout our property.
Q: Do you have daily housekeeping?
A: Abellona Housekeeping Procedures
For your peace of mind, Abellona uses CDC approved chemicals to sanitize rooms between guests. Linens, blankets and comforters are all laundered between guests.
Abellona offers full housekeeping services. In order to keep our guests and staff comfortable, we will not enter a room when a guest is present. If you prefer that we do not enter your room during your stay, please have your Do Not Disturb sign on your door between the hours of 9am – 2pm. Otherwise, we will assume you would like us to freshen up. Abellona Staff will put an alert on the door while they are in your room. If there are any personal items on the bed, housekeeping will not make the bed.
Housekeeping is unavailable after 2:30pm. If you have chosen not to have us freshen your room, you are welcome to come to the office. We will do an exchange (only) on any linens and provide you with any other room amenities you would like. Our current office hours will be posted on the door.

The Beach
Q: How far from the beach are you?
A: We are directly on the oceanfront in Old Orchard Beach. Enjoy views of the sea and the leisure of being just steps away from dipping your toes in the water!
Q: How far away from The Pier are you?
A: We are a half mile walk from The Pier and downtown Old Orchard Beach.
Q: Are there lifeguards on the beach?
A: Old Orchard Beach has Beach Patrol Guards on duty between 10am and 5:30pm daily between Memorial Day and Labor Day. They work in conjunction with our local fire department.

Q: Do you suggest a Dock Side Charter company?

Q: What is there to do around town?
A: There is so much to do in Old Orchard Beach! There are fireworks every Thursday night at 9:45pm from late-June to mid-August (special displays on Fourth of July), plenty of shops, restaurants, Palace Playland amusement park and so much more! Transportation
Q: Is there transportation around Old Orchard Beach?
A: The Trolley will take you to Downtown or Pine Point, from a location next to us, from 10am – Midnight from Mid June – Labor Day. Portland Airport is a 20 minute drive. Boston Airport is 1h 30m drive. Amtrak Train stops in OOB, May – Mid October. Local bus service is year-round to Saco, Biddeford, South Portland & Portland.
